Quality and environment
Our companies are, of course, EurepGap certified. EurepGap stands for Euro Retail Produce Working Good Agricultural Practice. Within this quality system the standards are set concerning food safety, sustainability and quality, which are required for companies in Europe in the agricultural sector. Besides these standards, Bloedbessen also takes on its responsibility with regards to its relationship with nature, natural resources and the environment. For pest management, a strategy applies whereby chemical resources are only used if there are no biological alternatives.
In the fight against pests, natural enemies are used to eliminate harmful organisms. If this is not possible, then (only) selective products are used.
The method that has already been used for many years, made the implementation of the Nature's Choice protocols simple. Our companies have been Nature's Choice certified since February 2007.
